Moving right along in July
So far July has been good. Everything is in order and we are well.
As I stated before Tes Fest is over and we are taking it easy for a
while. This will allow us to gear up for other events in August and September.
A week ago I started a new book. I’m reading “A strange
terrible Sage, the story of The Hell’s Angels” by Hunter S. Thompson.
It’s a real good book. It’s slow to get moving and he has an odd
way of working his timelines but once you are half way through the book the
book becomes amazing, entertaining and very informative. I only have twenty
more pages to go. I can’t wait to see how it ends. Just in time I got the
new book by Henry Rollins so I’m stoked to start to read that too.
On the music front I got the new Clutch CD which is fantastic and barb
got out of the library a three disc set of Rolling Stones singles and their new
live CD and movie Shine the Light. Cool stuff to dump into the iPOD.
Work is going great. July 20-24 was very special for me. I write this
entry feeling wonderful and very proud of myself. Here’s my work schedule
this week.
Monday – 7:30 – 4:00
Tuesday – 10:00AM – 12:15 Midnight
Wednesday – 7:30 – 1:00 and then 7:45 – 12:30
Thursday – 6:30 – 3:00
Friday – 7:30 – 4:00
During those days I held some meeting and also did eight
presentations. The presentations went real well and my bosses were pleased too.
Of course there are all my other work tasks too. I loved the long hours and at
times lack of sleep. I love that I got to push myself and that I succeeded. I
probably would have hated all of it if I failed at every task but by far that
wasn’t the case. To make things even better even with the crazy work
schedule this week I didn’t miss any gym time and my workouts were super
hot. I will say this by the time Thursday night came around and I got to just
sit and watch TV with barb and the dogs I was pretty tired but man did it feel
great to be in the living room with barb.
It’s Friday and I feel a nice settling in. I’m looking
forward to the weekend.
I think tonight we are going to watch the Movie Boys Don’t Cry. Last
week I finally got to watch Broke back Mountain. I must say that movie was a
lot better than I thought it was going to be. It was very sad, very good, very
detailed and had a great time line.
I also had a great time presenting and working for the M/s Development Ctr.
