HAPPY THANKSGIVING

This holiday always raises the question what am I thankful for? Everyone knows what I'm Thankful for. Slave barb, the house, our health, some good fortune, leather community, friends. There's so much to be thankful for. But I guess what really needs to be said is that I'm thankful that as the years pass by I have more and more to be thankful for. I'm a very lucky person.

So it's Thanksgiving and there's lots to do. First, we turn on the TV and watch the parade. Second, set my fantasy football line up, last but not least, start cooking. Slave barb is assigned to gravy and biscuits. Talk about a great combination. I too enjoy taking part in the Thanksgiving process so I told barb that if she needs help to just say so. I was quickly informed that I, Master Larry would be king of the biscuits. Slave barb directed me on what to do. I mixed all the ingredients, cut out the bisques and then blammo they were done. Since the cook gets to test everything I can easily say that they were slammin'. I was feeling proud of myself. As for slave barb's gravy? WOW!

We were so far ahead of schedule I was able to take time to clean up the back yard which also included getting rid of leaves. Then by a little after 11:00 we were off to the train station.

For the third year in a row we will be celebrating the holiday with many gay and leather friends in NYC. Jake is so kind to invite us to his home and include us in his traditions. It's a great feeling and both myself and slave barb love being there.

The food was amazing, 18 people left nothing of the turkey and eight deserts later we were all way stuffed! In the end I can say that we had a great time.

We ended up leaving later that we thought but that was fine. We missed the 10:07 train by about two minutes so we ended up on the 11:07. That put us home by around 12:15. I got home, took out the garbage and then we were in bed!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.
