Today is my Aunt's Birthday. She's 79 today.

We were up early, slave paul got me up at around 7:20. The big goal for the morning is to wait for the Direct TV guy to come and install the new High Def DVR and satellite.

I was so happy when the guy showed up early and then set everything up. I was even more thrilled that he sold me an eighty dollar HDMI cable for twenty bucks. Talk about a back room fell off the truck deal. In the end HD is set up and man is it bangin'. You can tell the difference right away but when I look at the TV in the bedroom ( which is not HD) VS. the TV in the living room that is HD the difference is astounding. I love it.

After the install we went grocery shopping. Along the way we picked up the new Buckcherry CD. It sounds pretty good too.

We came back put away the groceries and then we got ready to take my Aunt out for dinner on her birthday. I was so pleased that she was in a non cranky and non nagging, mood. We had a really good

time and she picked out a really good Italian joint that we never ate at. They were a bit pricey but it was worth every dollar. Of course everything needs to have an adventure and this dinner was no different.

I went to pay for the dinner with my credit card and the waiter came over and said that the card is not declined but I had to call the credit card company. I found this very annoying. I'm not having any issues with this card and I certainly didn't want my Aunt or even slave barb for that matter to think I was having an issue. When I called the credit company they told me there was some suspicious activity on the card. They asked me about a charge on the card for one dollar and I told them that was not mine. They let my dinner transaction go through and then I had to call them when I got home.

After dinner we hung with my Aunt and as soon as I got home I called the credit card company. As it turns out there were six charges on my card ranging from one dollar to eight eight dollars that are not mine. Luckily the Credit company saw that something was up and they declined all those charges. All but one. So my card is now canceled and I need to fill out some forms. I feel pretty lucky. I seems like I was getting set up for a HUGE hit. My compliments to the credit card company.

After that was all done we had a great night. We watched a Chris Rock comedy special. He really tore John McCain apart. That was awesome. We caped off the evening by plugging the lap tap to the TV and watching the live webcast of The Mr. Olympia Bodybuilding contest. That was great. Congratulations to Dexter Jackson for being the 2008 Mr. Olympia champion.
