There is definitely some re-cap from Thursday night. Last night the DNC had it's grand finale and man it was so so grand. Last night was the night that the man himself would speak. Is it Bono? Is it Elvis? Was it Springsteen? Was it Brett Favre? No! It was Barack Obama! He spoke to 74,000 people at Mile High Stadium and thirty eight million people in TV land. Oh my god what a speech. It damn near brought me to tears, when it was over I felt liking standing up and cheering in my living room. There is hope! What a tripped out, rocked out speech. I can still feel his words racing through veins. STOKED is what I am.

In the paragraph above I spoke of the high of the evening. In this paragraph I will speak of the low. The low is the damage I did to my shoulder. I had my shoulder packed in ice most of the night. I really had some severe pain running through it during the night. I had slave barb give me some reiki treatments on the shoulder and I know it did good. Her healing touch always makes me feel good or better. The problem was that even the light touch of her healing hands on my shoulder was painful. It was a rough go. After the awesome speech I went to bed. I would have had a great nights sleep but I was woken up three times in the middle of the night by searing shoulder pain. In a nutshell, I'll just say OUCH!

Interrupted sleep or not I was up and off to work. I didn't even bother bringing my gym bag. Today is shoulder day. Who the hell would I be kidding thinking that I could even attempt a shoulder workout? Bummed about missing the gym I went to work and had a interesting day. The transition has really begun. I'm training others as I wait to be trained myself. Letting go is an interesting mental sensation. Though in the end I can certainly say I had a very good and positive work day.

After work I came home only to find out I had to go to the post office to pick up a package. I order from this company all the time. I don't know why the package needed a signature this time out.

Once slave barb came home we went grocery shopping and then we watched Swingtown, Miami Ink and The Dallas Cowboys, Hard Knocks.

It was a nice easy going night.
