Slightly brisk day but very sunny. My question is why does the warm Spring Weather always take a slow boat to arrive and always take a speeding bullet train to leave? I'll never know. We got up around ten and we took a nice slow start to get the day rolling. Slave barb started the day off right by serving me some nice Chai and a wonderful bowl of Oates. After a good breakfast we went to the gym. We both had very good workouts. It was also fun to workout with slave barb. I was very pleased with how my pull ups and tricep dips went. I was also especially pleased with the dips because I was able to have slave barb there to put a forty five pound weight on my lap while doing them. A little extra tricep work can't hurt anybody. That was all good. When I got home I hit the showers and slave barb ran out to buy a shelf from Target. When slave barb gets home it will be project time. The goal for today is to put up a shelf, put down grass seed in the backyard, breakdown Lilu's huge cage in the bedroom and straighten out that area. ( It will be great to reclaim that space), repair a lamp socket and pack up some books. I'll report back later and hopefully be able to say that we got everything accomplished. So far so damn excellent! Slave barb returned home with an entire shelving unit (and treats for the dogs). While she was out she also sent me a picture on my phone showing me a camo print bowl that was just perfect for her to eat from. I told her to get it. She a very happy slave. Anyway, Lilu's cage is packed up and the new shelving unit is up. It's nice to have all that space back in the bedroom. The open space also allows for a lot more light to shine in as well. After the bedroom project was done we changed the socket / switch in the lamp. Presto changeo, the lamp is once again a three way lamp. Thank goodness. It was too dim in the living room. Ah yes, the grass seed is down too. Grow little seed critters grow! While we were doing all this work there was also a lot of music to be listened too. I loaded up the CD changer and we listened to UFO – Strangers In The Night, Live, The Wildhearts – Self Titled CD, Nine Inch Nails- With Teeth and System of A Down – Mesmerize. That was all good stuff to work too. Slave barb is now cooking dinner. Tonight will be a quick and yummy pasta dinner. Then we will get back to work and box up the books. I think the kitchen will get straightened out too. In the evening we watched a four hour show called Bush's War. The show was a special two part PBS Frontline special. The show was scary. It's amazing to see how Bush knows and does nothing and how Dick Cheney runs the show. It's amazing to see how they re-wrote the law and the Constitution to create war, a public US war the Middle East. It was an amazing and scary show. In leather and M/s we talk so much about communication. I wish these guys could learn from that. In basic business we learn about direction and vision and leadership. To me it seems that this administration knows nothing about that either.
