I'm looking forward to what I hope will be a productive day. Today is the day that I gave slave barb permission to go to the Paper Potamus for a seven hour art class. I'm really glad that I was able to give her this type of educational core day. She deserves it, she's earned it and she needs it. So, I'm on my own today and this is not a bad thing. I'm going to spend today writing presentations and reading my book. This will hopefully be some really good “alone time”. Everyone needs some core time or alone time. Slave barb is getting hers and I'm getting mine. Most important we will meet back in the middle, talk about our days, eat dinner and then we will watch The Royal Rumble! Let the alone time core day begin. Well, this day was perfect. Granted it's not over but everything seems to have fallen into place. One of my goals was to not leave the house today and so I have not. This is not house arrest, this is freedom. I have been alone all day but I was never lonely. Every now and then I would hear from slave barb who is having a good time at her art class. I finished the remaining seventy pages of the book I have been reading. That was cool. The book was good and there was always a dog or two around me. After the book I cranked some MC5 and started to pen our new presentation called The Journey of Our Titles. This may have been the toughest presentation I ever had to write. You can become pretty disgusted with yourself as you lay your faults and demons on paper and relive and mentally bear witness to a path of hurt and destruction that you created. That's painful, that's education. Thankfully the story has a happy ending. I learned my lessons, never again, I wont make those same mistakes twice. I'm very fortunate to have what I have and who I have in my life.
