Monday – November 26th – 2007 – Back to the grindcore and it was a good day too. Work was pretty busy yet very productive. I'm right in the middle of closing out the month and each way I turn I'm producing record cost saving numbers for the company. This makes me feel great. The creepy thing about the work day is this was one of those days when I never saw daylight. I drove in and it was dark and when I drove home it was very foggy and pretty dark. That's always creepy. After work I went to the gym and had a great chest and ab workout. Very strong. The four days of rest over the long weekend really did wonders for my joints. When I got home there was a slight Christmas accident. It seemed that the garland that I put up around the front door came tumbling down. I dashed inside to fix it right away. One can not have sagging garland around ye ole front door. I got another little sticky clippy thing and re-attached the garland. I blinked twice and it fell again. So I went and got another sticky clippy thing and re-attached the garland. This time I blinked once and it came crashing down. Ok, no more sticky clippy things and no more Mr. nice guy. I got the tool box grabbed a hammer and nail and nailed Christmas to the door frame. That garland aint goin' nowhere. After that myself and slave barb had some dinner and walked the dogs. Tonight we will try to relax and watch Raw.
Things to share – I mentioned in past posts that I'm reading a book by Henry Rollins. I wanted to share a couple of lines in the book.

“Silence never makes a fool of itself”

“ May you never be homeless in your own skin”

    Dear Master:
Despite Your best efforts, the garland has fallen again. Not as a result of last night's handiwork but a result of the failing clippie thingies.
