I have been writing that I'm looking forward to a lot of things that are coming up and that includes this weekend. So, Saturday has been a gem. We both got up around nine and played with the dogs a bit. Ok, actually they stepped on us a lot and treated us like fragile rag dolls. Anyway, we got up, got dressed, ate some scones and then went to the town house association's “garage sale” It was nothing special but it was relaxing and fun. Subversive behavior 101 wear your hot new boots and Master / slave pride flag shirt to the towns vanilla happenings. Slave barb didn't walk away empty handed. She got some cool Lock and key art work. This is going to look very interesting on the Leather wall. Of course the lock and key (for us) means Mastery and slavery. It's very interesting that slave barb found that because we have been talking a lot about lock and key imagery as of late. After the “garage sale” we walked over to our towns day. You know, vendors, some rides, bad bands and lots of people organizations giving away water bottles to promote themselves. Once again it was nothing special but it felt good to bounce around town and check stuff out. The weather is a perfect seventy or so degrees so it all fell into place nicely. After the town's event ( since we were already in the Municipal Center) we went to the Library. Slave barb got herself a book and I scored The Sex Pistols Never Mind The Bollocks CD. Perfect, myself and slave barb were separately thinking about downloading that cd so instead I borrowed from the library and I put it into my ipod for free! While walking home slave barb saw a very cool tree and we took pictures of each other perched on the tree. That was fun and the pictures came out great. Now it's time for part two of the day which consists of getting a lot of leather stuff done. But before I tackled the leather chores I put some new CD's into my computer, including the Sex Pistols and then I updated my iPOD. After that was done we got to our leather tasks. Slave barb registered us for SWLC and got the bios and pictures together for both SWLC and SPLF. I on the other hand took the time to take care of some business in regards to Beyond Leather ( happening in April in Florida) and SELF ( happening in June in Atlanta). Then I took on the task of writing descriptions for two new presentations that we will be unveiling at SPLF. I also needed to email some other people and square things away. Everything is in order! I then went to the yard and took care of some stuff. I'm feeling good and now it's time to pick up my car. I got new tires, a fuel injector cleaning, oil change and got the rear brakes adjusted. This actually came about $200.00 under budget. That was awesome. On the way to pick up the car I had slave barb stop off at Best Buy so we could pick up the movie Death Proof. Once we got back home we started cooking dinner. The weather is great so I will be grilling chicken! While I was outside grilling I also got to read an article in Cigar Aficionado on womens Roller Derby and it's resurgence. Pretty cool! Dinner was great and then we walked the dogs. After walking the dogs we got ourselves ready for the evening. Once we settled in slave barb served some beer and popcorn and we watched Death Proof. That movie is so hot. It has the most sexy cock hardening car chase ever. Not to mention the chase lasts about twenty minutes. So during the chase I ended up spanking the hell out of slave barb. The only sad thing is that after about nineteen years Ministry is calling it quits. Lets sleep!
